just found a photo of a 4V in a fox, certainly more of a headache then putting it in a falcon.

There's guys putting GT500 engines in em all over the place. Good thing about Foxes is you can buy nice aftermarket K-members that are made to suit your chosen engine so I reckon it's probably easier, at least for Left hook. Remember also that 460 swaps were commonplace in these and I've got a coupla old magazines with a SOHC 427 in one and a Boss 429 in the other.
It'd be worth making a Chrome moly tubular K-member for an E-series I reckon. |

You've obviously not seen any of Pete's previous creations... This is just a test-fit, right Pete?

Yeah Chad,
it's a test.... just show all the nay sayers who reckon you can't fit a modular in an E-series. Most wouldn't fit a V10 so, if a V10 can fit a V8 definitely can! btw I'll be building my own headers for my two other projects. As you can see it won't fit in my Cougar ... |

Do you know off the top of your head if the Coyote is the same dimensions as the 4.6 Mod, or is it larger? One little windfall and I want to at least have one of those Coyotes sitting in my garage, waiting for the right car to go in.

They're basically the same size as a 4.6 with slightly more compact heads. Think of a coyote as an evolution of the 4.6. Bore spacing, deck height, bellhousing pattern all the same. |
