Thats awesome, would love to see a V10 up and running in a falcon.
Whats the weight addition though? Dont want it to handle like anything with an LS in it. |

have a look here. I'm told by some guys that the plastic intake 3V V10 is about 610lbs though. Trouble is they don't mention if that's with accessories or not.

I am still trying to understand why someone would fit a engine like this into a car like that ? I guess it is a lesson in "I,m going to fit it in my car because I can" and forget about the expense ! Will be great to see it running after the fitting is complete. Personally I think I would go for a nicely balanced V8 with the goodies to make around 450hp, I think the car would still be well mannered in every day use and the cost of the project would have to be alot less than fitting than huge chunk of iron in the same car. Good on you for having a go and posting your pictures and thoughts on it, I am sure someone will benefit from them. I hope we see the pics etc of the completed project.

Ok you won't see it going because I'm not fitting it, I'm just showing that it can be.
It would be no more expensive than fitting any other modular engine, in fact I think it would cost less because these engines are available for very little money. Even though they're relatively heavy they make so much torque and good power. I agree about a V8 and a I reckon a Coyote is the way to go for that reason but, it would cost more and so would a pushrod V8 for that matter. If you want something unusual and with so much off-idle torque you can barely take off this would be a good thing. The most likely application for me would be a 3V version in my '04 Pursuit but with a '69 cougar and a 351w range rover project on the go at the same time, there ain't no money or time left for such things btw they fit in X-series aswell..... |

Hey Toranaguy, sounds like you need a 6.8 super duty F350 tow truck to get rid of it outta your driveway! |
