hey all im having some problems still with trying to get my v8 to start.

im wondering if my problem is that i have a v8 abs loom in a car that isnt equiped with abs.

where the abs unit pluggs in to the loom i currently have nothing there.

would this cause the car not to fire?

has anyone got a abs loom running in a non abs caar?

When I fitted ABS to my XH, I ran it heaps of times without having the unit plugged in.
ABS itself, or it's electrics, shouldn't stop your car running - did you change other looms over also - if there's a mismatch in pinouts, there's probably where your probs start.

i changed everything ey.

im about to bail on this project cause its doing my head in.

a light on the dash flashes brake fail when i turn the key to start it.
