Hey guys.

Just wondering how much I'd be up for to convert my I6 to a V8. I think my engine is dying (it's a f**k lemon) and once it gives up the ghost i'm planning on doing an engine transfer.
I'll probably keep it auto as it's not to go fast, I just love the sound of an 8 so i'm exporing the possibilities.

I've got a 165KW V8 to suit with matching 4sp if you're interested. Besides that you just need the V8 looms, ECU and TCM.

$1500 and its all yours!

I paid about $150 to have a V8 shipped from FTG to Sydney.

That engine of mine comes with Genie Extractors and a full March Racing chrome underdrive pulley set (About $400 worth).

FTG should have looms and everything. I was quoted $450 for all looms, ECU and TCM to suit EL Fairmont from a wrecker in QLD when I was doing my conversion.
