Hi,has anyone out there registered a 6cyl to v8 conversion (eg.5L into a XH panelvan) in WA? Is it a pain in the a***? Should I bother registering it?

Piece-o-piss. Just grab an EF or L 5.0 donor car and swap away.
I'm in the middle of a 5.0 into XG van conversion and we are also doing a 351w into EB legally. |

Do I just rock-up to the licensing centre for an inspection or do i need to fill out some forms or something. Putting the engine in is the easy part!

I think 67 and up for 65/66 the six cylinder spindle is different and needs to be swapped out. The 6 cylinder spindles uses smaller races/bearings. The 67 spindles should work for your conversion.
