I drive my EF everyday of the week. It was originally only for work but now I use it for everything. These EFI 302s are not as bad on fuel as most people believe.

The coupe, on the other hand, is lucky to be driven once a month. Not because I don't want too, I don't have time to mess with it at the moment.

Mines the same....a daily driver!!!

Go through about a tank or a bit more per week. Not worth having it if you don't enjoy it.

It will also remain a daily driver no matter what i've done to it, except for when i can afford another car (eg, BA GTP or something of the sort), after it has had a respray, is in show condition and isnt allowed any chips etc, then it will get garage treatment

Mine was a daily driver, till I left it.. Economy is fine or even better than the I6 if you can control your foot, otherwise enjoy the note. ;)

This is my daily drive;
http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopi ... b&start=20

Work is about 25 mins away and it is good on fuel but i haven't actually worked out the fuel economy yet because the Odo is broken. I may put an EB trip computer in it too.

Cheers,
Pete.
