Hello, playing around with the dizzy 351c on my Ford f100 70 model and took the dizzy out but had the shaft attached to it that rotates the oil pump? Anyway i put the shaft back in the hole and now I cant get the dizzy back into the block and its not flush with the block, try everything rotating the rotor, and no luck, any ideas please :cry:

The oil pump drive shaft hasn't dropped back into the oil pump correctly.
Happened to us on the weekend actually.

There is suppose to be a special washer fitted to the oil pump drive shaft to stop this from happening.

Next question is how do I get the shaft out, need longer pliers? and when I fish it out how do i know to fit it in properly? thanks
