I had Pacemakers on my EB XR8. My AU will probably end up with a set of Pacemaker comps.

Gonna order a set off eBay.

Pacies on eBay are $700

Hurricane are $625

Thing is tho the pacies are 2 1/4 outlet, and hurricane is 2 1/2. Im guessing if I ask though they can do a 2 1/2 set..

I already have a Y piece and exhaust @ 2 1/2.

Im not short on money so thats not a biggie, but I might shop around..

Any good dealers you can recommend I call?

Ill be ordering a set of underdrives as well, but just bolt on mods for now. upgrade ignition leads, coil and plugs, CAI or hi flow filter and other basics.

For you to make.
500 bucks gets you 2 headder flanges plates, 2 collectors, 2 collector flanges and gaskets, oh and 32 bends shipped to your door.

More than enough for you to make a few mistakes with and still end up with a half decent set of extractors that you can be proud of having made yourself.

Some of us could burn some big holes through 32 bits of tube! :D

@ Lowlane7 - Have a look at the Best Mufflers website. I bought a set of Hurricanes from them for my V8 ute. They seem to work well, especially after getting them ceramic coated inside and out.

If its the right grade of steel and its easy enough to weld, before you know it you could close close a hole the size of your head up to be air tight just by pad welding

Best mufflers.. Ill have a look-see.. Cheers.

I have spot filled some pretty big craters.

The trainer at the welding courses I did was pretty impressed..

Don't have a decent set up welder though. My best work was with Gas MIG.

I've got pacemaker's on my red Eb Xr8 with Au Gt40p heads, and I have genie's on my White Eb Xr8 with stock E7 heads. The pacies look a bit better, but they are both a huge improvement over stock!

Cheers
