Just wanted to do a quick thread. i just bought a 02 fairmont ghia with the 5.4L.
Just wanted some info on the differences from the 24 valve and the 32. one being 220kw and the other 40kw extra. any idea on an upgarde to gain more kw if possible but its odd how they look differant though like how they have oil caps in differant spots and that cheers

They are a 3v.
they are single overhead cam (SOHC) and has VCT. An exhaust, decent cold air intake and flash tune does the trick, then a set of diff gears, then its time for compressed air.

personally i like the look of the 3v but the big intake on top of the 4v looks mean. could u put it on the 3v too, be a nice mod

Completely different eh.
Nothings interchangable, Maybe the block, but I think that would be different too.
