My first post here. I would be most interested to here from anyone who has had experience on fitting a 5L V8 into an EA.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hey Mate,

Just finished doing the job in an EBII. Engine came from an EBII GLi, and went into an EBII Fairmont Ghia. Swap engine, cross member, wiring looms, ECU. Not a big deal really.

The only issue for you is that the EA never came out as a V8 (unfortuantely as similar as the EBI is to the EA, it probably wont count) So it will need to be engineered.
