Personally, I don't understand why. Does this 5.6 not have the tickford manifold on it?? AFAIK they are good for 300rwkw, no boost, no NOS. What do you have planned that will achieve more than that?? :?

this setup is very neat and works well, it only produces 620hp, and smokes the tyres with 3 people sitting on its a*** whilst on the dyno

Yeah, how weak.

There is a guy on here, ratman (I think, or something similar) that has the air filters hanging out the top of his 347 EB (rather than the traditional intake manifold) that pushes about 450rwhp from memory. His car was in Street Fords a couple of months ago. Looked mint.

well these fit under the bonnet of an AU, however they are very tight and the air box rubs on the bonnet, even though the bonnet bracing has been removed

Gday all,
yeh I went the multi tb route, will post some pics tonight. It was featured in a street fords mag a few issues ago also, I found it a good way to go in the sense that the torque pull is insane but it needs to be setup correctly and by someone who knows how to tune them. I didn't like any bonnet bulges out there so pushed them through the bonnet - besides nothing looks better imo.
Mine are the newer 50mm trumpets so they make more power than the 45mm and are shorter so bonnet clearance shouldn't be an issue but I used fairly tall filters - 4 x siamese K&Ns so the fronts needed a hole above.
I run an Autronic on the car.
The BAGT someone mentioned was built in sydney at autotechs.
Mine was all built in Canberra with the manifold sourced from Qld. The efi hardware stuff is nice but at 11g - way over priced imo. DC & O don't actually make the full manifold but source from the guys i got mine from, I can pm u details of u like. A setup like that including filters should cost around high 3k's - low 4k's. Obviuosly injectors etc on top of that if u want to go higher flowing.
I have seen a T stroker with them on so it can be done on the AUs also.
hope that helps.

Nice setup you have there mate. How much power/torque did you notice of the conventional setup?

hard to say how much difference the intakes would of made over the standard setup as I also went with a stroker kit, alloy heads & its running a smallish cam - which will be changed soon, basically these mods doubled + some in the power figures.

How about having the 8 throttle bodies coming out the top of the engine and having a BA bonnet scoop but having a opening at the front for the air. Like the picture.
