Why not post a link so we don't have to Google...
Generally any cam timing over 220 @50 and lobe centres smaller than 112 the engine starts getting alittle grumpy.. Esp with EFI and 5.0 capacity... Lift over .500 is almost wasted with std Ford heads...As a general rule the better flowing heads can breath better with over .500 lift... As with most things there are variables .... The SVO E303 ROLLER cam goes gang busters with carb 220 /220 110 lobe centre and .498 lift.... Yes its 110 lobe centre so idle is quite lopey....

lol dont spend much time on the computer not very good at it... yer i dont really understand cam grinds that much but it will be on a fairly free flowing engine and will be at about 4000 5600 revs most off its live and cause its carbareted and not streetable id prefer a nice lumpy angry idle?

I have an E303 cam you can have for $200...
Its a roller cam.. Is your block roller or flat tappet ?? Can be alittle tricky with EFI ? But spot on with carb..Havingsaid that I had NO idle isues or drivability with this cam..... It sure acccellerrates hard in mid range, due to 110 LSA ... Compared to 2031 ...

It certainly does!! I am running the this cam in an EFI application. With carb the idle would be really lumpy i'd imagine, mine was before tune, but with the twEECer and a good tune it really smoothed it out, although it does sometimes stall when slowing down and clutching in. Definately has an awesome midrange and maintains power through to redline, also is excellent down low cruising, 5th gear overtaking @ 100km/h is a breeze now.

$410 new for the Crane 2040. You'd be better off buying EBXR's cam 2nd hand, seeing as its a roller they don't really suffer from wear. I'd be inclined to ditch the Torker for a Performer RPM or Weiand Stealth... Either will give better torque & mid range power than the Torker.
