HI EVERY BODY I HAVE A FORD ,,,BA..XR.8. UTE ,,I JUST BOUGHT SOME REALLY GOOD CHEAP 18 INCH FORD MAGS FROM THE MAGGNET STYLE TWO ARE BRAND NEW AND TO NOT BAD ,,I AM TRYING TO SEE IF THERE IS ANY BODY THAT SPLITS RIMS AND ADDS ON MORE RIM ,,SO I HAVE CAN HAVE A GOOD SET OF RUBBER ON THE BABE ,,,AND THEY LOOK TUFF FROM BEHIND,,, :roll: :roll: ,,SO IF THERE IS ANY BODY THAT YOU KNOW JUST LET ME KNOW ,,,GIVE NUMBERS ,,,PLEASE ....AND ILL SPEND THE MONEY ON IT IF ITS SOME THING DIFF,,,YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN,,,,, :o :o

mate any mag wheel repair or modification place should be able to do it ,if you where in VIC i know a couple of places.

watch out for this lil fiesty number.. :lol: kidding!

havent heard of anybody chopping a BA/BF rim and wideing them.. would look tough a 10 inch wide GT rear rims.. 8-) ... not too sure of the roadworthyness of doing that job or engineering hassles with RTA about it.... -if thats what you mean...

Steel wheels are pretty straight forward to widen.
Alloy wheels would be pretty much impossible to do properly by an average welder in a typical workshop, mainly because introducing heat via welding would greatly reduce the strength and introduce stress fractures. They would need to be x-rayed before being put on a car.

And yes,have seen nice n fat steelies at the drags.. but never late model alloy wheels widened.. for the above mentioned^^

i dont think you can safely and legally widen alloy rims, i was looking at doing it to mine but doesnt look like you can :(
