I need HO valley gaskets for lower manifold replacement and ford dont sell them any more. They have Explorer for $91, I found some aftermarket ones from some spareparts shop for $14 but they were like thick paper/cardboard type. I thought they were meant to have half a metal surface or similar with a blue edge?

Found some on Ebay a while ago but cant find nothing anyware now. People have told me ring Rocket but i swear they are un helpfull.

explorer is the same, it's only upper/lower manifold gasket that is different, port size between the manifolds is the same.
I like to use summitracing.com to search for parts you want, note the part number, then ring Rocket/VPW and see what they can do.
On some stuff they are pretty good, stuff like gaskets should be pretty high volume so not that bad on price.

felpro 1250's will probably be the go, but i wouldnt use the cork bits that go in the valley etween the heads. use a thick bead of silicone and it wont leak.
