Hey, I'm in need of a new pair of cats for my EL V8, and I don't want standard ones, because I do want to be making some decent numbers out of it down the track. What are people's opinions on what I should get? I don't want to pay huge dollars either, is there a decent compromise?

Yep my Magnaflow on the Mav has fallen apart.

As has my magnaflow cat come apart internally.
Noticed it started rattling probably a month or two after it was installed -.- Probably gunna go for a venom cat next.

Next question is, how many cpi do I need to go for? what's best, remembering I have a fairly mild V8.

imo no less than 200cpi.. 100 cpi are a cat you run when you don't care for emisions or exhaust smell..

Because thats highly illegal, attracts a 15k fine or jail time. its one of the worst things you can get done for on the road. the EPA in nsw frequently gets people to the full extent of the maximum fineable extent. Courts in NSW love raping individuals for this stuff.
