I use HPR15 (15w-60) in my AU 347 stroker. Seems to do the job.

I've used Castrol Magnatec in the EL and it was good. I'm trying out GTX3 15w-40 this time around as I like the idea of slightly thicker oil for warmup.
I used Penrite HPR GAS ages ago in my XF and it made the lifters and timing chain noisy as hell. I'm reluctant to try penrite again. |

Because of sponsorship & endorsement deals.

I use Castrol Edge Sport in both my saloon cars and have never had any dramas. I do change the oil and filter every time I take the car out though.

im running 5w30nulon synthetic in my au n it run like a dream, i started of using the mineral base nulon n it worked better then some of the others i have tried (eg; castrol, valvoline & penrite!).
it does vary depending on car, age, mileage & engine as to which one will work better!!!

Had more noise than the nulon did... and when i floored it it seemed "tight" didnt feel as smooth or free as the Nulon. It's all good my mums corolla uses hpr10 so ill just put it into that. Penrite lasted all of 15mins in it lol
Ive got Nulon coolant, diff oil, gearbox oil, and motor ive just gotta do some tweeking with the oil, maybe freeflowing 10w-40 or 5w-30? But i really rate the Nulon products hey and reckon if anyones thinking of changing to something new give them a go. All Australian products 5 stars! and there's a few good vids on youtube worth checking out aswell. But like all windsors there all different and temperamental. That said is anyone using the Penrite SIN range?? i only want to use Australian oils also |
