Hi All,
I have a 347 EF XR8 and wanted to see who else out there has a 347 and what is there hole setup consist of and what power are they making so i compare and see if my engine is lacking somewhere.

Hi there,
I have a 347 Stroker windsor, best thing that I ever done, mine is probably different to yours as mine is blown. I used the following. Coast High Performance Pro Street Blower Stroker Crank and Pistons Eagle H beam rods Edlebrock Victor Jnr 70cc Heads with Comp Cams blower valve train Crow Cam Novi 1200 Paxton Supercharger. Mine isn't injected though and I'm running a 750 DP modified to suit a supercharger. I put it on the dyno for a bit of fun at a dyno day held in my home town and it made 400hp at the wheels and 1167 Nm at 5 pounds of boost. Recently up the boost to about 10 pounds but yet to get it on the dyno. Going over to the states at the end of the year and hopefully bringing back a bigger blower for it or maybe a couple of turbo's. Cheers

Nice setup dude,
I should be getting back my car tomorrow and see what hp it makes now and then ill post up everything i know about the motor.

I have a 347 EF XR8 and wanted to see who else out there has a 347 and what is there hole setup consist of and what power are they making so i compare and see if my engine is lacking somewhere. the hole can be cut in the bonnet using a jig saw or nibbler, I would set it up in the middle of the bonnet or to suit anything that does not clear the bonnet lines, But personally I would keep the whole thing under the bonnet as a hole will usually get the coppers unwanted attention quick smart. |
