Excellent, thats what I wanted to hear! Time to start shopping.

With the wonderful world of LPG I dont need to worry about the Manifold, Injectors, TB or MAF. Makes life much easier.

I'm currently sourcing an ECU for my V8 which is tweecer compatible. After Pete gave me a demo on the tweecers ability, I was sold! If the MoTeC wasn't so fancy (and a good value purchase), I would've looked at the tweecer for the 'waggin' :)

Yeah the Tweecer is a great unit but you need a fair bit of knowledge to tune it properly and get the max out of the EEC. The lack of doccumented support as well as the layout of the software is a limiting factor IMO but once you play with it for a couple of days things start to make sense.

I've seen it in action and love it. Not quite as nice as the Motec software, but all the options are there and easily changed. About $5000 price difference between the 2 as well.

Heads can range from $1000 for the GT40P's which are quite good IMO to around $2500 for alloys such as Edlebrock, Trickflow, AFR's. Cams will generally cost around $400 but if you run stock or GT40P heads you will also need better valve springs/retainers which will set you back another $300. You will also want a new intake manifold (stock one is the biggest restriction) which will cost from $600-$100. Improvements can vary but probably around 50rwkw maybe a bit more depending on what parts you get.

So in other words, for about $2,500-$3,000 you should be able to squeeze about 50 rwkw out of the motor.
2 questions........

1. What would reckon fuel consumption would go to?
2. Any problems doing to a car thats got 155,000kms on it? (i wouldn't of thought so, but i'm not te most mechanically knowledgable person.)

I mean i get 400-500kms around town to a tank and anything up to 800kms to a tank crusing on the highway.

155,000kms shouldn't be a problem, the windsors run for ages. Fuel economy may actually get better when driven normally but when you thrash it, it will use a lot more fuel (power=fuel).
