Pretty cool gear they have there, im amazed on how much things they have off the shelf for windsors.

Prices are good, but the systems themselves are not that crash hot. Makes it basically a CFI, like the old EA jobbies.
Would look tough with a Corbra intake etc

first one is for a 351 and second one is 5.0 or 289. If you get one, get the 5.0 one as your stroker is based on the 5.0 block

Im not too sure if a manifold setup like that could be engineered

It would require a lot of emissions testing which is big $$ but could be engineered if you were keen enough. I feel you will probably need emissions test on your 393 if you run anything other than stock EFI

Yeh emmision's is a big problem but i think with a standard cam best cat converters probably have more than 2 on the system and a trickflow intake.

If your going Aftermarket block then you will have to do the same unless you do other things to get it passed which alot of people do these days :D

I want my car to be fully engineered the proper way so i dont have any drama's

Depends on how strict the emission requirements are. Pre mid 96 is pretty easy to pass.

What year model is your car ?

NSW RTA doe emission testing at Botany & Penrith free of charge !

Its a 1995 EF XR8 but i think regardless since 1976 6 month there was emissions so it just got tuffer by the year.

I heared something about a loop hole about replacement block???

You have to comply with ADR 37/00. Introduced in 1988.

There were lots of carby cars that complied with it, so I imagine that with a stock cam and a decent tune any EFI car would pass.

There's no such loop hole for replacement blocks. If its got pretty much anything aftermarket an emissions test will be required, unless the parts are 50-state legal in the US.

If its a 393 as Terrorist previously mentioned you may as well wack on all your aftermarket gear (manifold, ECU, etc.) and go down and do an emissions test if you want to get it all engineered. If not, dont worry about it as most cops would not know what they are looking at anyway.

ADR37/00 is pretty easy to pass.

FAST have an aftermarket EFI manifold as well for a hypo 351W.

As do Trickflow and Edelbrock using a single TB similar to what is on our cars

I found this info from Hitman tuning, he is very well known to be a very good tuner and pass cars for emmision.

Blocks dont mean anything, and you can use any year block you wish, as it does not affect anything. Emissions will only have to be as good as the engine you were replacing, which is prettty easy with adjusted cam timing, and a lean tune. In QLD all you have to supply the engineer with is a dyno run showing A/F and that will suffice, so you know how to work with that.
Possibly register car here, then transfer rego if its too hard in NSW.
