Well look a little harder.
The EFI 351 truck lower mated to a Holley Systemax Upper. Then there is Trickflow if street heat/track heat and Box R (similar to the TE50 5.6) Edelbrock also do the Victor lower which will bolt to either the Performer RPM or the RPMII. Look around there is plenty of options. Brett

Standard blocks are only good for about 500 fwhp so you might have a problem for the rwhp you are asking. Get ebxr8380 to post some funny split block pictures.
I have a 10k old 96 el block unused since bored to 30 thou if you are interest?

Poor casting, very poor shape, very rough .
A pair of edelbrocks will take a dump on them.

my way of thinking and this is probely wrong the blower should fix most swirl problems ,they have bigger valves then gt40 heads bigger ports so the flow should be there with the blower pushing

True.
But depending on what cam you have as well as well as rockers, If you are running larger valves, you WILL need pistons notched. and when you take that into account, it would probably cheaper to go to a smaller valve but better flowing head. It is worth going to an alloy head alone just for the fact the heads dont lift off as easy with boost/n2o. For proven combos try www.corral.net which is a premier late model mustang site (1980 onwards) which has about every combo tried and proven. And yes some people have tried procomp. When i said poor casting, it wasnt the material i was talking about, just shape, coreshift, etc. I have seen a pair up close, the look nice and shiny but until you look up lose through the ports and inlets. Then i have seen the parker knock off manifolds, MSD knock off ignitions, the alternators, i dont have much for them. But if you have the heads, best of luck and i hope you meet your expectations and goals without any hassle .
