Save up and buy a proper block unless you want to severly limit the boost you're running on a 347.

I've been looking at pavtec performance, they're selling Dart blocks for alright prices. I'm thinking of buying a 302 Sportsman block for around $2500, dunno if that's too pricey for ya.

By proper I meant an after market dart block.

The price mentioned above isn't too bad.

The Sportsman block's are 4 bolt on centre 3 mains, same as the old Ford 302R..
Same as Boss 302 as used in ATCC V8's..
1200 h.p is around there limit.. Though I know some who have over 1000 Rwhp...
A cheaper option is a std 351 block ??
They can handle up to 850 h.p..
Need to find different inlet and sump is different...
Heads, induction, accessary bracket's fit.. Minor mods to extractors..
Check the sticky above.. 351 into XE...
