I've got no ISC ...
Don't ask, having problems wiht it, but due to that on cold monrings i have to hold the revs up for 20sec or let it run for a bit before i can drive or it will stall whe nthe clutch goes in - ASh

I thought you'd have had her all apart and ready to breath fire before September Shannon. You've still got a month!

Had rough start /stall on wife's NL when stone cold in morning. Immediate restart would be OK- checked for codes & got high speed idle error - changed ISC -no difference. Changed EEC - no difference.
Pete suggested to look at MAF. Tried another MAF & it fired straight off - no problem. Had a much closer look at my MAF wire - there was a gel like substance was growing on it - cleaned it with contact cleaner & wooden toothpick last night - it fired ok this morning. Richie.

Hmm, was the gel clear?
I have no idea what it is, or if it was put there, but I was checking my reverse light globes the other day, and the left light socket had all this clear gel crap in it. I don't know if it was put there as some kind of lubrication? Or it, as you mentioned "Was growing on it". Any insight? |
