Hi guyz from hearing that putting a 5.8L in a XH is going to be too much of a hassle. I am thinking off putting a AUIII 220kw v8 and what is the difference between the 220kw to the TE TS 50 engine apart from being stroked any info would be great
i have a 97 XHII xr6 manual |

Yer true but that why I was thinking of putting a Au3 220kw motor in it so I don't have to go through all the engineering stuff

They're both EECV but the AU one is much more powerful and is setup to operate direct ignition for starters.

If you put the entire AU Harness in with AU BEM it will work. That's going to be the easiest way to do it. When I did it we had to splice in sharing some XH stuff and some AU so it was very time consuming.
But the really easy way is to use XH V8 EECV and harness which will of course just fall in there. |
