just bought a ford falcon xh xr8 97, cost me 2500 with rego so wasnt a bad buy
couldnt hear it so i cut it where it joins to one just after the cats and welded some 3" and poked it out just inrfont of the back wheel, sounds like s**t but its very noisy so i like it ;)
thinking about buying a new exhaust for it when i get some more money, but it goes like crap so i want more power, without spending 8000 on a supercharger or stroker, it is a ford so it does about 150 in first... na not really it does 75 but i think that is not right and it just takes forever to get there, i was thinking stally? 2800? anyone got any ideas of what i could do to this thing without putting a whole in my pocket? cant seem to find much for the xh.
cheers

Anything you can do on the other windsors you can do here.

For starters:

Underdrive pulleys- ($150-$400) depending on source
Explorer/late 98 XH intake manifold/TB/MAF conversion ($400-800) depending on source/parts
adjustable shift switch
CAI
J3 tune
3.7 diff gears

And get a proper exhaust with high flow cats, will sound much better and go much better.

How do I get a hold of the underdrive pulleys? And with the gearing I wanted to put 3.7s in it but then I got on the highway and it sits on like 2100-2200 which is unusual?

I am in the market for a set of underdrives as well. They are available from Summit in the states.
If we can get a few people who want them we could look at bring a few sets in at once and splitting the postage?
PM me if your interested.

You're aware the underdrives from the US aren't a direct bolt on, right? You'll need to get the bolt holes for the water pump drilled out..
