hey boys

im gonna unbolt my exaust tomz from the second muffler (small one just behind the rear tire) just to see how she sounds. if its any good, im just gonna weld a bit of pipe which ill get from an exaust shop where the 2nd muffler was..

or if its not that loud, gonna take the middle one off and leave the little one but i guess that will be too loud. if its good, weld a pipe there. We shall find out tomz

im saving for another bike, so i dont wanna spend too much money on her, just quick n cost effective sound increase..

ill try to post up sound clips or something tomz

ideas?

Im thinking of doing the same thing...
Ive been told that taking the BIG one off is WAY too loud... so i was thinking of taking the last muffler off...

I just wanted to know if this is going to sound like a broken exhaust, or does it actually sound good...??

im taking the rear one off today... im hoping it sounds like a V8 after that... lol

Make sure you chop off your mufflers and not the cat though.. big $$$ if you get caught with no cat!

When I first got my redback 2.5' exhaust on my wagon, my car was fitted with an auto and I didn't want the exhaust shop to fit the rear resonator. It droned and it sounded pus. However, when I changed the wagon to a manual, the exhaust sounded tough as because the engine wouldn't sit in the rev range where the drone is. The auto on the other hand would, all the bloody time!

As your car is an auto, it will drone all the time. Much better getting a complete cat back system with a better rear muffler and a good resonator.
