Hey all,

I am looking at getting a 200kw cam out of an XR8 (along with timing gear and springs), from my knowledge i THINK it should be able to work in a 175kw engine.

But i just wanted to make sure.

Thanks in advance Matt

It will work but IMO your better of just using a aftermarket cam.

TFS-1 perhaps?

Rockers will be fine but depending on the cam you might need to change Valve springs.

But now you mention it, change the rockers to 1.6/1.7 ratio while it's all apart. Will give it a extra kick. It depends on the profile of the cam to what rockers you choose to run. I am not too cluey about cam profiles e.t.c. I'm sure someone else can assist.
