mmm...good question! the cars done 58k, so its barely run in by Ford standards, it also had the gear box oil changed (which i was told is supposed to last a life time?), the pipes put on it are a little bigger which has taken a bit of grunt out of the motor, A K&N filter has been put in it also, but as a woman I think they see me as a sucker! I want to see what can be done to make it faster also....But I shall research and ask them that que...thanks mate!

Yeah sounds like O2 sensors, either not hooked up or they were damaged in the install. Don't know what is wrong with some of these exhaust guys, it is so common that cars run like crap after extractor changes due to sensor damage, I have changed extractors half a dozen times myself and have never had a problem.

just in case it started doing it coincidentally at the same time as your exhaust was fitted replace the $40 fuel filter and check the vacuum line on the fuel regulator as it could also be a pressure problem.
Probably nothing of the sort but you have to cover all the bases and have all the options. catch you later |
