Hi everyone i have an 04 BA XR8 5 speed manual ute.
Now i haven't started the ute in a long time due to a work car and i went to start it the other day and it turns over but it won't fire up. It has a new throttle body and tps. When you have the ignition on and you put your foot on the throttle the throttle body flap thing doesn't move. We checked my brothers ute its a 6 turbo (not the same thing i know) and his throttle flap moves without the car being started. Any help would be much appreciated. |

Yeah i have disconnected the battery before as i got told it resets the computer or something like that. Also the crank is good and will keep turning over for as long as you want it just doesn't want to fire up. I was told it will probably be the pedal sensor but just wanted to know if anyone had other similar problems.

Hi just stuck again. I got a new pedal sensor and installed it and still nothing. I was wondering if anyone else has any other ideas?

Just got the bad news it wasn't my throttle body or pedal sensor but in fact it was my computer so i now need to get a new one. Hope this helps if anyone else has this problem in the future.
