Rightio guys, I picked this 1999 Ford XH Panel Van up the other day, would rather not specify how much I spent on it, let's just say the seller got an absolute bargain.

It's had an EL XR6 engine and 5-speed manual conversion, the engine was rebuilt about 10,000 km ago using parts from an AU XR6, it's got a lumpy cam, extractors, all of that good stuff.

At this point, I'm just looking for recommendations for common mods the people do, performance and interior mods etc.

mate that is a very clean looking van and looks like the previous owner has maintained it to a high standard. my thoughts are same as previous posts drive and enjoy, as for mod ideas the first thing I would do is remove all internal covers trim ect use compressor air blow all dirt an dust from all internal cavities and spray in a rust prohibitor like fish oil [perfumed] lanolin or enisis oil. before you do this check out wreckers for vans an utes and look for the common points where they have rusted especially where 2 or 3 sheet metals are joined.
anyway hope you have many years of driving with pride the magic x series ford
cheers Demmo
