I've got an XE ute auto, but i'm considering placing a toploader in it.
did these come out with a cable or hydraulic clutch? or both?
I've never taken notice.

Pretty sure that they came out with a Hydraulic settup, check the fire wall next to the brake master cylinder

It's hydraulic. I have a complete 4 speed setup that I was going to put in my old XD ute. New Master and slave cylinder, new pedal, and so on. The 6s had a cable.

Now that I've sold the ute I'll prolly put it in my Coupe.

cool.
do you know if any ever came out with cable?
and if they did, they'd probably be a b**ch to drive too.

all you need is the slave cylinder, everything uses the same bolts as the cable, the cylinder linkage clips on to your standard brake pedal
