no box will not just bolt straight up as starter motor is on wrong side . not sure though if you can get a 5speed bell housing from an e series n redrill the box to bell housing bolt patern

hunt down a taxi(well any model with benchseat. lot of xh's had it), you could get the 4 spd column on them, although, I think bellhousing, handbrake, column shrouds linkages. not the easiest to do but can be done.
oh you want manual, I think you'll have a bit of trouble, as mentioned bellhouseing. etc. they only ever did column e serie in auto. be a fair bit f custom work to pull it off.

Go to http://www.rodshop.com.au/trans_conversions/2wd_trans.htm and scroll down the page to BH091A. That will solve the problem for you.
Good luck.

The 3sp spigot is smaller than the 5sp spigot too, as well as the spline is smaller, too.

The guys from G.B Race cars made there own for a BA with 3 speed speedway car. But a T5 one should be able to be adapted & if u use an EA flywheel you should be able to get a clutch & pressure plate to fit. Regards TPVM.
