Yes, i fitted an old 250 log-head to a 2a years ago. Cant remember who makes the bellhousing adapter, but it all went in easily enough. You have to move the radiator/grille panel forward a bit, and run a thermo fan. Makes for a decent truck, but be careful, they have very short diff gears, you will need an overdrive for the highway or it will guzzle the fuel. Will pull s**t off a blanket though......

Yer thats what i thort! what i was thinking was to move the headlights to the mud gards mount the radiator flat aganst the grill put linch clips on to hold the bonit down and thermo fans! when i was looking at it, it seemed to me that the timing cover would be very close to the diff?? was that a problem that you encontered?? to fix this i was guna put raised engine monts! so what could i do fairly cheap with the diff gears? hahaha yer well they put 250's in Ftrucks n they go like hell lol i thort shed be a mean convertion beta than a p***y holden moter lol!! what did you have to do for roadworthy???

Mate, i did this conversion in 1989 or 1990, so I dont remember the finer details, sorry. It was pretty straight forward, i remember that much.
As far as diff gears, any diff shop can quote on either swapping ratios, or fitting a later model diff to your truck. An overdrive trans would be better, maybe a hilux or similar might work. Good luck
