while thats one hell of an impressive process they have gone through there the end product looks (at this stage) to be an abomination, those f**k tail lights want to make me puke!

Hi , please tell me to go jump , as I hate anyone else telling me what to do with my car, but consider this: how hard are coupes to find right now? Bloody hard !! How much are they worth original or near original? Sh*tloads!!!

If you go ahead with the BA dash etc., try as hard as possible to do all the mods to the dash frame as much as possible (even build your own frame) so that, as much as possible, it more or less bolts into the original setup - try not to get too chop happy with the car itself.

Purely thinking of resale value down the track - what you think is a greaat mod and which costs you a fortune might actually devalue the car considerably if it can't be reversed.

There is a guy local to here who has a early 70's fairlane which he's `customised' extensively, heaps and heaps of work but several times I've been around other people when it goes past and heard them all laughing at it - I've spoken to the guy seperately and like me he's an older fellah that remembers customs from the 60's - I mean, I like his car from that angle too, but there's not many left who do, it seems... I've had a few wilder ideas for my XB coupe over the years that I've slept on and reconsidered - the idea of chopping the roof a further 2 inches was one of them (I reckon it'd look wild !!) - so, my point is, if you are going to change stuff pretty radically, the easier it can be un done , the more your car will be worth...
