Has Cab-over van driving position and I swear it felt so much bigger than my falcon. Bad ride too. Back to the topic: My mate has an XF. It's starting to rust at the bottom of the front guards and the bottom of the C-pillars, so I'd be having a good look there. If you really really want, one get one. As long as you don't drive like an idiot and be careful, you should be alright.

if you really want an xd-xf be sure to put a hose down the vent panel as they are renowned for rust around the vent intakes which means major surgery the efi versions are hard to get flow meters for
but the late xf's came out with carburettor and t5 if tuned properly with 3.23:1 ratio diff you can get 450 kilometers from 30 litres of fuel |

Hey mate if you do decide to get a box falcon ie XD-XF go for a high series such as XF Fairmont Ghia Or ZL fairlane or FE LTD as all these come with goodies ie cruise,electric widnows trip computer digital dash comfy seats etc etc

just out of curiosity in the xfs in the gl and fairmont but not fairmont ghia they have four dials in the middle on the one that has a/c on it it has other controls what are they for
