HI, I AM WANTING TO CHANGE THE CAM IN MY 4.1 XF, CAN ANY ONE TELL ME, CAN I GET THE OLD LIFTERS OUT THROUGH THE HEAD, CAUSE I REALLY HATE TO TAKE THE HEAD OFF my motor. my xf is in almosy mint condition, it is white colour coded and has 4 wheel disc brakes, and runs on lpg and petrol, when i first got it was sluggish, then i found out the alternator was only producing about 10 volts instead of 14 like it should, swapped that and put on one of them big yellow accell coils that i found in my shed, just a simple thing like that made a big difference,its quite a nice torquey motor now, eventually a 351 will go in,but in the mean time can any one tell me if a large performance lpg dedicated carby can be got and from where.

yeah you can pull the lifters without taking off the head
all you need is one of those extendable magnet thingys, number 1 is a little tricky but do able
