So long story short I recently purchased a 83 XE Ute.

I have a stereo I was going to put in my fg turbo but will be putting into the XE instead.

Has anyone put a big stereo into a XE Ute.

I'm facing the following issues

1. Fg seats in the XE sit to low to install amp under
2. Seats sit against back wall of cabin
3. On other side of back wall is a 200l lpg tank.

Now I'm thinking of mounting 1 or both subs in a custom centre console between seats but the only way I can see to mount the amps is to mount in the tray somehow.

Any ideas or experience
