Hey guys,
just wondering what a good crow cam would be for my 250 crossflow. Its going to have EF crank, set of 200 rods, ACL flat tops, 20thou shaved head, Wild cat extractors and 2 1/2 inch exhaust. Want something pretty mean but driveable so maybe the high end of the midrange cams. Oh and want a crow cam because i wont need shims Cheers Jay |

They will give you what you want and not just whatever grind they have on the shelf, i wanted something that worked different to the cam i was using and i couldnt even get crow to do a custom grind for me. |

We built a motor for a customer and crow sent the wrong push rods. The boss should of measured them but they cracked the sads and got all narky. I'd go with Camtech too.

Another vote for camtech. Got a CT142 503B-110, not a firebreather but fine for what i wanted.
No fuss with em on the phone, no you need this or that, and were very helpful. Delivery was done to SA within a week. Price is quite reasonable too. |

find yourself an 86DA block from a late model XF ute or panel van, they have E series spec cranks from factory, an EF crank will bolt straight into an 86DA block without machine work. i almost forgot to say, get the dizzy gear from crow, otherwise you'll wipe it out.

crow cams are crap they arent centered properly and the lifters run off center to the cam lobes, they wear quick as, go with camtech

My crossflow has a crow custom masters cam pushing 350fwhp. No problems with that one and im using another custom grind from them now. Camtech are good but i dont have any probs with crow. Also as said get a 86DA from a 87 on xf. The ef crank bolts straight in. With your combo i would say use a crow 14650. Good for 280- 300fwhp.
