Hey guys ive got a XC and am thinking of doing a E series transplant into it. I was looking at getting a EF/L or AU motor with a 4spd auto, engine loom, driveline and putting it in . Will i need some extra parts like the XG engine mounts and Swaybar ? Are their any other parts i will need ? Do i need a engenearing CIT ? Any good doco's on this sort of thing ? Any advice / comments are welcome!

6 or 8 mate? remember you will need to have all the currant emission controls for the engine your putting in so that means cat and everything. i dont really see how XG engine mounts are going to help you. Id imagine you would weld ef/el engine mounts up.

Yeah im aware that i will need a cat and all that, I was thinking it would be easyer to get a wreck and strip everything and go from their. As got the XG engine mounts i think i read somewhere that the XG has the same engine mounts as the E series with the engine crossmember of a X series. Also im going a 6 . I know a few people have put E series motors into XF's so id imaging that it would be the same ?
