ther is a lot of money and work required for this i do belive (i wanted to do a similar conversion to prev fairlanes)

tho if / once the conversion is done, you will get a better motor - more power, better fuel economy etc etc etc.

it will take a lot of time and money me thinks...

im not sure about the steering, xf would probably surfice, however you would have to organise the powersteering hoses via someone like pirtek...

you will also need a xg swaybar and a new transmission and a whole lot of wiring and a new dash.. lots of work.. lots of money, when a worked crossflow will put out the same figures, i just finished mine and im running around 10L/100 and its 200km old. (5spd, 2.92diff, 350holley) keeping the stock motor will also attract less attention..

just a thought

Stay with the XF Motor, If its not MPI then put XF MPI Manifolds on it, get an Impco or GRA underbonnet kit, and put LPG Tanks in.

Same or less money, Better go (although doesnt rev so hard - is a very torquey engine), and a lot cheaper to run. If you wanted a real surprise send the head off the the Gatt Bros in Sydney.

forgot to mention that the current fuel setup is straight GRA 250 setup.

and diff is 3.45nc sportsman lsd and tranny is an XG t50d

so driveline is pretty well sorted.
