i though that you would just change the manifold from an efi one to a carby one

i can tell you that someone? makes adapter plates from th 3.9cfi (throttlebody injection) manifolds to holleys or webbers but ya gotta remember to use the centerpoint manifold gasket (doesnt have the injectoe cut outs) they can be used on anything up to au

the computer is gona think its got no injection pulse. that could affect the spark if your runnin ea computer you should maybe think of going back to xf computer for spark control and xf dizzy if ya can havent done this but reckond it could be done

you just need an older dizzy and as troyman mentioned a weber to holley adapter plate which could also cause bonnet clearance issues. going back to full mechanical advance etc you don't need ecu spark control. your retrofitting not trying to re-invent to wheel. it's a weapon of choice for lower category speedway cars.

You can get a 2 or 4 barrel carby manifold to suit, aussie speed make them.

why not just try and fix the efi ? leaking injector o rings can do this, as well as the pressure regulator being stuck. is the vac line on the map sensor ? does it blow black smoke ?
