yes its simple just bolt on the carby manifold and it will run.
should have more power then the carby motor did.

the only other thing is i dont think they have the lob on the cam to run the carb fuel pump so i think you will need to ues somthing like a holley red or blue. if you look at the efi eng where the carb fuel pump goes there will be a plate there covering it.

Or you could install a nice meaty aftermarket cam.
They all have lobes to drive the fuel pump. Or do as backwards coona recommends run an electric. A solid state Facet or carter should suffice, unless your planning on running a 4bbl holley...

I'll take the EFI system off your hands if you don't want it

dunno about the dizzy?
when i used a efi motor and put carby go go bits on it, i just used a XF dizzy out of a late Carby XF.. and electronic coil (new one from repco) as my standard coil was giving a weird spark as it wasnt electronic. you may need a carby dizzy.. i dunno if theyre different but i used a carby dizzy in mine as i got it cheep.

This is all well and good but are you putting a leaded motor in an unleaded car ???? No big deal really, as you can only buy unleaded, but the unleaded motor will have hardened seats on the exhaust valve. This head will last much longer, unless you plan to use the lead replacement s**t.
Something to consider. Use the carby Dizzy. If it is electronic you will have a computer in the car already doing the timing (EEC III), or if it has vacuum advance on board it doesn't need one. The Dizzy out of the EEC car needs a computer fullstop. Easiest to use the dizzy that belongs in that car. Personally I would put the EFI system in the car, but I an an electronics sort of person and thats my field. Maybe not so for you.
