have you a sedan or ute or wagon?
I know with the sedans it is hard to run twins each side, but you can run the twins side by side and come out together. Also if you only have a stockish 302 twin 2 1/4" would be plenty. That is all I had until I put the stroker in then went to the 2 1/2" twin and also added the "X" pipe which there has been topics post on this site about.

Yea its the sedan dont really want side by side rather one each side
if 2 1/4 fit i'll go that way its just the pipe on it at the mo is 2 1/2 was gonna use that for one side

The only way to do it is to make the exhaust come down and out behind the rear wheels

I had a ZJ fairlane with a stockish 302 with only a edelbrock performer intake manifold and a 650dp holley with spread bore and just had a 3inch single exhaust sounded ok but was a bit overkill.

Go to a good parts shop , or exhaust shop and have a look at the standard exhaust route for a twin system ( in a parts book ), that should clarify things then go for a 2/14 system along the same lines.
