Can someone tell me how do you remove the rear extension housing seal. There must be a trick to it i cant seem to get it out.

start by removing the tailshaft, bet you already did that lol, ya just gotta pry them out some are rubber and some are metal on the outer they are the hard ones to get out if prying it from the inside edge fails its not recomended but tap a fine screwdriver between the outside edge and the housing to break the seal then pry it out

get a screw driver hold it about 45 deg were the seal meats the housing start tapping with hammer till you ever make a hole in seal or you bend it back so you can get screw drive in to lever it out
