Hi all, just thought i would post up some pics of my `65 XP Falcon for you all to see.
I have just finished installing the Holset H1C turbo on my rebuilt 250 2v.
no wastegate on it at the moment, it should be here during the week. i had about 22psi in it the other day and no problems at all, no pinging nothing. will limit it to about 10psi though.
i use a 600dp. 66 primarys & 73 secondarys. A few mods for blow through use are solid nitrophyl floats, rubber gaskets, nylon bowl screws. drill out the power valve orrifices to supply more fuel top end and chop off the choke horn.
the engine uses a set of Hypeuretic (?) pistons out of an XF unleaded engine(big dish, 27cc) ans decompression plate. mild cam, electronic distributor with a boost retard module fitted.

had to laugh actually, i went for a cruize on the weekend. pulled up a set of lights beside a riced up lancer, plastic s**t hanging off it everywhere and subs buzzing every panel off it. these two kids looked at me and yelled out some s**t, dumped the clutch and made the front wheels sqeal like a school girl.
f**k i thought, by the other side of the intersection they were mine, blow off valve goes off right beside them, they s**t, i laugh. Next set of lights we come too they now have respect for "old school".
