I have recently purchased a very stock XC and i want to make it fully sick :P it has a 3.3 straight six, 3 speed manual colomn shift . I would love to drop in an eight depending on how difficult it is maybe lpg, i wanna get it as quick as possible without too much hassle. Should i keep the six and get either a supercharger or turbo?

Look around, there are plenty of cheap Fairlanes and LTD's with all you need, 351, FMX and a 9 inch. Just swap the running gear, disc brake rear etc straight in. Plus you have a lot of spares left over!!

Hot car mate. Love it. If it were mine and I could afford it, I'd look at the costs and work involved in dropping in an XR6 Turbo driveline.
Failing that, I'd wack a 4.0 litre XR6 motor with running gear in her...

G'day

If it were mine i would go for an ed-el maybe au windsor. You can pick one up with all the bits needed for a transplant for about $2000. Speak xr8 dismantler and see what they have.

Cheers

Great looking XC mate.
Easiest way to go would be to put in a 351 Cleveland i guess, all you really need is the engine and a v8 gearbox (C4, FMX, toploader etc).
Of course you need the V8 exhaust and carby linkage etc needed for a V8 as well.
But if you want a newer style engine like an AU windsor, you will be subject to the emmission regs of an AU, not an XC.
Either option, Inj 6, turbo 6, V8 etc, im sure will be great. Its good you got a stock car to begin with, not some dodgy unfinished project.
XCs are great cars but are not known for their rust protection, they can rust quite bad, so watch out for rust.
