Hi girls/guys,im looking at purchasing an xe fairmont of the 6cylinder kind and am goin to drop a V8 in one. What i wanted to know was what was the cut off date of swapping a 6 to a V8???I mean i have talked to many people who do blueslips and they have mentioned that the late xe's you werent able to put V8's in without engineering them.Like the xd's and early xe's you can drop a V8 in and just get a blueslip done for the engine number swap. But the later xe's they will have to be engineered. So what i want to know what was the cut off date. Thanks
