gday just wondering if a fuel injected xg instrument cluster will plug straight into a carby fed xf?

the xg and xf clusters mount different to each other... |

ahh ok spewing seen on ebay a conversion for the police dash or whatever comes with the housing and stuff but thought i'd ask around anyway, it paid off lol

Short answer was No, as its not plug and Play.
Long Answer Yes. XG's have a bracket behind the EB cluster to suit the XF dash. XH's also have a simular plate to suit the EF/EL series clusters to suit the XF dash. You'll need to source a XG facia (dash surround) to suit the EB series cluster as the XF one is too deep , Pretty sure you can cut your existing one down tho. Everything will bolt up and pretty easily but you'll need to customize the wiring.

yeah i can rewire it i was just more after the dimension side of things because yeah i know the xg cluster is the same as eb etc, cheers for the help though will be salvaging some parts from upullit
