G'day

This all looks very familar. Ive got my ute, a 89 xf gl ute, at a mates place in about as many pieces.

The guy thats painting my ute may be interested if the prep work is all done.

Do you have a booth that you can get access to? If so he may be able to paint for a price!

Your project looks great. Mines just gona be a work ute to i'm not going all out on mine (thats what my wagons for). Mines just gona have a fairlane interior, nice paint, 17" wheels, half decent stereo, straight gas with a proper cam, extractors, lsd, lowered and maybe a hard lid.

Keep us posted.

Cheers

Pane,

Good to hear someone else is doing a ute up, as too a spraybooth no luck not that well conneted.

As to painting well I need someone to do that i'm not that good.

If your bloke is interested that could be good.

Now to the rear bumper well there are 3 if i remember right bolts all are undone from behind the bumped two are rear facing and on side.

If you still have no luck let me know I'll take some pics of mine which is undone.

G'day

When are you looking at painting. Cause at this stage he wont be able to do it. Maybe later in the year.

How do you get the back window out?

I made good progress this weekend, i'm going to write my own thread.

Cheers

Pane, Painting next year would be fine, no worries there.

Now as to your back window, take the window surround off first, and then simply push the window out with your feet into the back tray, if you have someone to help out to catch it. if not put a blanket in the tray.
