G'day all,

My real name is Dave but everyone calls me SODA.

Im in the process of doing up a 89 XF GLS ute. Getting there slowly but now I'm getting to the tricky part. PAINT!! No one in my home town (Sunbury) Is really interested in painting the ute as its not an insurance job!! Can anyone help and name a few good shops who may be willing to the job? Any help would be great!! Heres a few pic of whats been done so far, XG XR6 interiour, New rear SVO type rear wall, XH rear bar and SSV body kit to go on brand new, new engine and trans, new front end brakes bushes etc, and numerous other things!! If anyone can make a few recomendations that would be great ..

Cheers

SODA

I don't know if their still going but RAMP BODY WORKS in Melton did a great job on my XF years ago.
Either see Lou or Richard (if they still own it), & tell them that Jason & Harry that use to own Harjay engineering next door to them sent ya.
They are in Reserve rd R/H/Side about 100m from the corner of High st.(Bursons is on the corner)
Hope this helps :D

smoke rubber thanks for the comments, well I know it sounds boring to some but I will be putting a stock 250 back in it at the moment. Two reasons I dont want to spend time and money on enginering a V8 and the second I want it to be reliable. As to colour it will be the original MONZA red, the SVO grey bottoms. I am still deciding whether to but the side moulds on or not?? What do you guys think? XR6Lookalike Ill try the guys you have mentioned cheers.
