Well, got a stock as a rock XF, im new to this sort of stuff, and the doorhandles keep breaking from the inside and outside of the car. Wanted to know if there is a permanant way to stop this happening.

So theres no other Falcons with similar mechanisms that i can use? Or any aftermarket stronger parts? I cant fix them myself yet, and its expensive for someone else to do it, and im not a fan of them continually breaking on me all the time.

you could try replacing the hinge bushes. i have heard if they are worn and the door sags a little you then have to use a little more force to open the door and lift it up harder.
the bushes you should get from ford cheaply but changing them is another thing.

everything has to be aligned right, the door striker, the door lock, the door hinges, the link to the door handle (both).
if not, they will keep breaking.

in my old XD, i put a couple of washers between the bottom hinge and the door on both front doors (back doors never broke), never had another break in the 3 years after that. Nice and cheap. :D
